I brought the kids and Alex's friend Blake to a Barnes and Noble store last week to see a baseball player. The store was at the Cumberland mall which is about 40 minutes from our house. The boys were so excited, they had their baseballs and his card in hand. Well, when we got there we were told he was signing his book. Okay fine, so I pick up two books and I'm figuring that if I spend money on NOT ONE BUT TWO books he will sign the boys baseballs and cards. The woman who was running the signing went back and talk to his publicist and he said he was ONLY signing books. So I asked her to please let him know that he had three little fans that drove a long way to see him and now know what they mean when they say the fame went to his head! So what makes it all better GOOD FOOD! We went to the Cheesecake Factory and by the time the Oreo cheesecake came out everyone was feeling a lot better! (And by the way, the players name was Gary Sheffield) Don't buy his book!!

Happy Father's day Honey!!
Ms. Cecelia and Mr. Johnny (Brian's parents)
We had a really nice Father's Day on Sunday. When Brian came back from his run and bike ride, the kids and I had breakfast waiting for him. Brian's parents came over in the afternoon for dinner and then we went to the pool!
Momma's Helpers!
We are slowly but surely getting our front yard back in order. We had a tree that fell last year in our front yard. It left a wonderful mess. There was no grass growing under it and our yard was like a big rock pit! A couple of weeks ago Brian shoveled a load of dirt (that was big fun!) into the yard. We made gardens out front and by our mailbox. We still have no grass yet but at least we have flowers!! Hopefully we will have a grass completed yard, in the next month?! The kids love to help. Especially when it comes to watering everything down!

Safety Town 2!!
She's a Safety Graduate!
The Coke kids!!
Hannah went to a Safety Camp at the school she will be going to in August. She went from 9-12, Monday-Friday. And she thought she was the coolest thing because it was called CAMP! She learned all about keeping herself safe. They have a little town set up, so when they did bike and car safety they rode through the town. Of course my child found the Coke car! Hannah had a really good time. And it was nice for her to hear all of this things from someone other than me. If anyone has one in their area, I highly recommend it.
Georgia Renaissance Festival part 2!
We have heard a lot about the Renaissance festival that goes on every year. Well, we can report that if you've never been you are not really missing anything. We didn't pay for it so we were not complaining. The good thing is we got some really cute pictures!! Does anyone see a pattern with my daughter? Whenever there is any kind of body art to be found, she finds it ON HER FACE!! I'M SCARED!
