Hannah's Last Game!

Today was Hannah's last t-ball game. She really has enjoyed playing . She got into it much more than I thought she would. I guess she watches her brothers get into their sports. She wants to play baseball like the boys will do in the fall. I have tried to explain to her that they don't have baseball for girls. She wasn't to happy to here that. Maybe we can start our own leauge. We already have a cute name for it....GIRL POWER!!!

A Lazy Saturday Morning!

This was the first Saturday in a long time, that we didn't have to be out of our house for an 8:00 a.m. t-ball game! So we took full advantage of it. It was Cafe Du Johnson at our house! The last time the kids and I went in to Louisiana, we had our usual beignets with Aunt Stacey. And this time I bought some mix. I didn't think they would come out as good as Cafe du Monde, but they do. We use a fry daddy. GOOD STUFF!!!!

Another party for Hannah!

Hannah's birthday was in April and she has had more than her share of celebrations. The way her birthday fell this year we were on spring break. So we didn't have a big birthday party here. So two of my girlfriends with whom I love dearly have not let me forget that she did not get a PROPER birthday party. So this Monday we had a pool party. We had pizza and cupcakes and Hannah got yet more presents. Everyone had a really nice time. Our summer is almost over and this was a nice way to end it!

Brian's Birthday!

Monday July 23rd was Brian's 34th birthday and my daddy's 50th birthday! We celebrated Brian's birthday on Sunday. The kids and I made his favorite dinner and desserts. We celebrated with Brian's parents, family friends from Louisiana and my girlfriend and her family. Thank you everyone for making my husband's day a little more special. My momma and Brothers celebrated my daddy's birthday on Sunday also back home. Unfortunately we were not there to help celebrate my daddy's birthday. Daddy, I hope you had a very nice day and I'm sorry I couldn't be there with you!

More Concert!

More Concert!

Tim and Faith concert!

My girlfriend Lena and I took our 8 year old country music fans to the Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill concert. It was an awesome concert! Lena and her daughter went last year and told us how wonderful it was. Our seats were awesome, thanks to Lena's hours on the computer. I haven't been to a concert like that in a long time. Jakob is a Tim Mcgraw fan. I like them both. It was a long night and the kids had a little nap at the end of the concert. My husband joked the next day saying that was an expensive nap. We had such a nice evening. Jakob and I want to thank Ms. Lena for her many hours of trying to find the perfect seats for all of us! YA DONE GOOD HONEY!!

Braves Game!!

Tennis Lessons!

Hannah has been taking Tennis lessons this month. I have to tell you it is the cutest thing. And she has been having a ball!

Sleeping babies!

Our Anniversary!

Two weekends ago my husband and I had our 12Th wedding anniversary! Brian's parents watched the kids for us and we got a full night alone. It doesn't happen nearly as much as it should. We had dinner at Pappadeaux's. It is a seafood place. I am very particular about my food especially my seafood.( I definitely can not hide my New Orleans roots when it comes to food.) This place was very good. I was pleasantly surprised. And on Sunday morning we had brunch at The Old Mill in downtown Acworth. This food was wonderful. The building is beautiful. And we got to sit outside and enjoy this wonderful weather.(I'm not joking..we have been having beautiful weather in the 80's). We had a wonderful night away. Thank you Ms.C and Mr.J for taking care of our babies. We might be calling a little more often!

2007 Peachtree Road Race!

WE DID IT!!

Brian, myself and my girlfriend Lena did the Peachtree Road race on 4th of July morning. This race is huge, there are over 55,000 people that participate. It is a 10k(6.3 miles). As most people know my husband loves to run. He has done a number of races including marathons. And as most of you know I am perfectly happy cheering for him when he crosses the finish line. But not this time, he was waiting for us at the end to cheer for us! Lena and I had never done a race and after I hurt my knee in May it looked like we were not going to be doing it. But my knee has been doing a lot better so we decide to go for it. Brian's time was 51 minutes and Lena and I were 1 hour and 30 minutes. Not bad considering we had not done any training since May. I am very proud of all of us. And thank you to my girl for being their with me every step of the way. I'm looking forward to it next year!!
