This is the face of a boy who hasn't had sweets since Lent started (33 days ago, but really who is counting??) and is getting a "free pass" because its his birthday party!!

Friday we celebrated Jakob's belated birthday party with his friends. With his broken arm and all the kids activities its been hard to schedule something where his 3 best buds could be at together. This weekend was a complete rain out, so it was perfect because all activities were CANCELLED!
We went to the movies and saw, Monsters vs. Aliens (very funny), then we had pizza and then home for a sleepover! Why don't kids say slumber parties anymore, or is that just a girl thing??
Whatever it is called, a good time was had by all.
I think I only sent out prayer requests for my sanity 2 times that night on Face book, hey that's pretty good :)
