There's Always A Story...

Please disregard those 3 sock footed ladies in your driveway, there not from here.......

This past Sunday I had some much needed time with my girls. Lena's on the left, I'm in the middle and Carol is on the right.

We went to the Junior Service Leagues Annual Holiday Tour Of Homes. They highlight 6 homes from our area. Local designers take over decorate these houses to showcase their talents and ideas for holiday decorating.

We started Sunday off with an early lunch and then it was off to snoop look in other people's houses :)

We all got some really great ideas. We took some photographs mental pictures of some of our favorite ideas. They had to be mental pictures because using your cell phone as a secret camera would be totally breaking the rules :)

The reason for the picture above is, you have to take off your shoes when you go into these houses. Carol and I did this tour the first year I moved here and we both completely forgot about the shoe thing. We were all 3 dressed really cute with slip on shoes, but now that it has been chilly no one had spring time toes. And also, it was COLD! So we stopped at the nearest Publix and we all purchased some really comfy socks to wear. And of course I had to get a picture on my illegal camera phone.

I LOVE these two woman. They are my Georgia peaches, neither one is an original peach but they have both lived here long enough to be called one.

These 2 ladies really are my ROCKS here. If I didn't have them in my everyday lives, I would be lost. They have made my first experience of being away from home BEARABLE!

Girls, I had a great afternoon with you, hopefully we have started a new tradition. And next year I'm bringing these comfy green socks with me and my phone :)

Is there a direct flight from KC to Atlanta??>
